As a result of the measures to combat the COVID-19 virus, the National Commission has drawn up guidelines on the application of some provisions of the Code of Conduct for International Students in Higher Education. The guidelines were updated on 14th of December 2020. The update concerns the prolongation of the guideline which provides in the possibility to take the compulsory English language test.
The guideline about article 5.5 mitigating reasons hasn’t been prolonged and is only applicable for international students who have made insufficient study progress in the academic year 2019-2020.
The National Commission expects to be able to answer the questions from educational institutions with the guidelines.
In order to arrive at these guidelines, there has been frequent coordination between the National Commission, the NRTO, Association of Universities of Applied Sciences, VSNU, the Ministries of Education, Culture and Science and the IND.
